Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi was one of the tens of thousands displaced from their homes by the devastating wildfires sweeping through Southern California.

Officials have confirmed that the massive wildfires devastating entire neighbourhoods in Los Angeles have claimed at least 10 lives and forced thousands to evacuate. As the crisis intensifies, California’s National Guard is preparing to assist in maintaining order.

Yesterday, Fatehi took to Instagram to share her experience, stating that more than 130,000 people had been instructed to evacuate their homes as the devastating fires engulfed Los Angeles.

In a video posted to her Instagram story, Fatehi conveyed her astonishment at the magnitude of the catastrophe, stating, “I’m in LA and the wildfires are crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this. This is insane.” She then shared that she had recently received an evacuation notice and was hastily gathering her belongings to leave the area.

Prior to her video message, Fatehi shared a short clip from her car, capturing the fierce flames and commenting, “The LA fires are crazy right now… I hope everyone is okay.” She concluded the post by advising her followers to stay safe and assured them she would keep them updated as she dealt with the situation.

Fatehi was not the sole Bollywood star impacted by the fires. Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who lives in Los Angeles, also spoke about her experience as the wildfires intensified.

The wildfires have wreaked havoc, destroying over 1,000 buildings and forcing more than 130,000 people to evacuate. One of the largest blazes, originating in Pacific Palisades, has ravaged nearly 15,000 acres of land. This scenic area is home to numerous celebrities from the entertainment world.

Sources indicate that several celebrities, including Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Paris Hilton, and Anthony Hopkins, have lost their homes in the fire. Other stars such as Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore, Ben Affleck, and James Woods have also been pushed to evacuate.
