B’baria train crash: Railway communication resumes after 8 hours

Railway communication between Dhaka-Chattogram and Chattogram-Sylhet resumed around 11 am.

The communication system was interrupted for a total of eight hours since a grievous accident took place when Turna Nishita and Udayan Express collided at 4 am today. The accident occurred at Mondobagh Railway Station in Koshba under Brahmanbaria.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Brahmanbaria Hayat-ud-Daula, a total of 16 people have been reported as dead.
