SA Games: Morzina Akther clinches silver medal for Bangladesh

Morzina Akther of Bangladesh clinches the silver medal in the Women’s Nandao all-round category on the last day of the 13th South Asian Games Wushu competition securing 16.30 points at Army Physical Fitness Centre in Nepalese city of Lalitpur on Thursday.
Morzina beat Sanju Kumari of Sri Lanka (14.74 points) but lost to Nima Gharti Magar of Nepal (18.91 points) in the final.
Apart from silver, Bangladesh earned two more bronze medals in Wushu on the day.
Rasel Hossain of Bangladesh bagged a bronze medal in Men’s Gunshu all-round category securing 18.68 points while Dipti Das bagged bronze securing 16.65 points in women’s Taijijian All-Rounder at the same venue.
Earlier, Mohammad Omar clinched a silver medal for Bangladesh in the men’s Chan Quan Thaulo, Nur Baher Begum bagged a bronze medal in women’s Chan Quan Thaulo while Md Amir Hossain won another bronze medal in the men’s Taolu Nan Quan all-rounder.
