Aamir Khan is ecstatic and thrilled about the fact that he got an opportunity to share screen space with none other than Amitabh Bachchan. The superstar will be seen with the megastar in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s action-adventure film Thugs Of Hindostan very soon.

The Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood has spent over 3 decades in the film industry, and it took so long for him to work with the legendary actor. However, Aamir recently revealed that he had got an opportunity to work with Big B earlier but for some reason, it did not materialise.

According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, Aamir while interacting with media here in the city, said, “Working with Amitabh Bachchan was a lifetime experience. Earlier we were supposed to work in Indra Kumar’s film which didn’t happen but this time I made the most of it. I always use to be with him on the sets and ask him several questions.”

Fatima Sana Shaikh, Katrina Kaif and Zeeshan Ayub too are an intergral part of Thugs of Hindostan. The film also has veteran singer/actor Ila Arun on board.

The film which is slated to hit theatres on November 8 also stars English actor Lloyd Owen.

Reportedly set in the backdrop of India under the British rule in the 19th century, Thugs of Hindostan is inspired by Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. It revolves around the life of a thug and his gang who challenge the British Empire in the country.

Aamir plays Firangi Mallah, an eccentric character full of flamboyance.  He comes across a thug who robs people of their belongings. Except for his dhoti, he wears clothes and sports accessories robbed from others. Big B as Khudabaksh looks like a warrior who is also a farmer, Fatima as Zafira comes across as the daredevil while Katrina as Suraiyya is the ultimate siren.
