Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj trailer triggers meme fest online

Makers of Akshay Kumar-starrer Prithviraj finally dropped the trailer of the period drama on Monday. The trailer was unveiled at YRF Studios in Andheri in Mumbai.

Helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film stars Akshay Kumar in the titular character while former Miss World Manushi Chillar plays the role of princess Sanyogita. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana and Manav Vij. The trailer of the film, which is set to release on June 3, has received mixed reactions online.

While a section of netizens lauded Akshay and Chandraprakash Dwivedi for bringing the story of the brave warrior to life, a section of Twitter brutally trolled the actor for his look in the film. Some even shared memes online to express their opinion.
