Ali Zafar writes ‘life is so unpredictable’ as he mourns singers KK and Sidhu Moose Wala’s untimely deaths

Days after the shocking death of popular Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, the country lost another music legend. Singer and composer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known by his stage name KK, passed away on May 31. He fell ill while performing at an event in Kolkata and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

Known for his heart-touching melodies and soulful voice, KK was one of the most versatile singers of the Indian film industry. Twitter is overflowing with emotional tributes and several Bollywood celebrities have also condoled the demise.

Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar, who has also worked in the Hindi film industry, also took to his social media to mourn the untimely demise. In his heartfelt tribute, he also mentioned Sidhu.

“Shocked by the passing of two amazing artists @iSidhuMooseWala and @K_K_Pal . Life is so unpredictable. May their souls rest in peace and families gather strength to go through these difficult times.”

Sidhu Moose Wala, popular singer-turned-politician, died on Saturday (May 29) after he was attacked by a group of assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district. He was shot in broad daylight when he was travelling in his jeep with two others.

While the country was still reeling from the shock of Sidhu’s shocking death, singer KK’s demise has left music lovers in pain. The singer who made his debut with popular track Tadap Tadap from Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam had an illustrious career. He was known for being one of the most versatile singers in the country.
