Alia Bhatt from being hit by branches during Gangubai Kathiawadi promotions

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been keeping busy recently owing to the promotions of her latest movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress visited different cities in the country to promote the Sanjay Leela Bhansali masterpiece. During one such promotional event, Alia was saved from harm by the photographers who lifted up the branches of a tree which were about to brush against her face.

During an open bus tour with the paparazzi in Mumbai for promoting Gangubai Kathiawadi, tree branches brushed past the actress. While Alia was busy interacting with the people, someone from the crowd shouted “Jhaar lagega (be careful of the branches).” It is then that a photographer stepped in and lifted the branches to save the actress.

Alia immediately took her saree, bent down and covered her head until the media persons made sure that there were no branches around that might harm the Brahmastra actress. Take a look at the video here:

The Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actress can be spotted wearing a gorgeous white printed saree with a sleeveless blouse. She wore statement earrings and tied up her hair into a ponytail to complete her look. To add freshness to her look, Alia donned a red rose in her hair.

Alia has been garnering praises for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The movie hit the theatres on February 25, 2022, and has been receiving praises from both the audience and critics.
