Recently, Alia took to social media to share a post after Ranbir’s team Mumbai City FC won their first-ever Indian Super League trophy.
The actor, whose love for football is known to all, was unable to attend the ISL finale as he is currently in home quarantine after having tested COVID-19 positive. In his absence, his mother Neetu Kapoor attended the match and was also seen lifting the cup with the entire team post their victory.
The veteran actress took to Instagram to share a congratulatory post for the team. The same post was shared by Alia as her Instagram story. Along with it, she wrote, “Wohooooo,” followed by multiple heart emoticons. The Raazi actress later shared another photo of the team calling them “champions”.
Alia recently made headlines for her ‘miss you’ post for Ranbir Kapoor. Alia had shared a photo of her hand holding Ranbir’s hand tightly and wrote, “Major missing.”
The news of Ranbir testing positive for COVID-19 was shared by his mom on social media. She wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions.” Alia has tested negative for COVID-19.
