Alia Bhatt’s RRR shoot delayed by two weeks due to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi?

Alia Bhatt is currently busy with the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai. The current schedule of the film, which is said to be the longest, was scheduled to wrap up by the end of October. But according to a recent report, the shooting has been extended by two weeks.

Due to this extention, a report by Bollywood Hungama claims, Alia will get two weeks late in joining the shoot of SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The actress, it was reported earlier, was scheduled to leave for Hyderabad in the first week of November to shoot for her remaining portions in the magnum opus.

A source in the report has been quoted as saying that Bhansali wants to wrap up the Gangubai Kathiawadi shoot as soon as possible. The insider further said that the director extended the current schedule by two weeks so that most of the shooting is completed. It added that after the ongoing schedule, the film has one more schedule left. With so much work on her plate, Alia is working frantically to keep up with her deadlines, the report says.

Alia was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film, released on Disney+Hotstar, had received mostly negative reviews from film critics. The public at large was also critical of the film.
