Assist Attorney General Marufa Akter dismissed

Assistant Attorney General (AAG) of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh Marufa Akter has been dismissed from her post for misbehaviour.

According to the order of the President, Solicitor of the Ministry of Law, Runa Nahid Akter issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday, reports BSS.

In the notification, it has been stated that the appointment of Advocate Marufa Akter given by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in an order dated 19 October, 2017 was canceled and she was relieved from the post of Assistant Attorney General of Bangladesh Supreme Court.

The order will be effective immediately, the notification added.
