Audio clip ‘super edited,’ claims Nixon Chowdhury MP

Faridpur-4 MP Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Nixon on Tuesday refuted the allegations that the audio clip where he is heard threatening Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarker over the arrest of his supporters during the Charbhadrasan Upazila Parishad by-polls was ‘super edited.’
The audio clip has spread on social media.
Nixon Chowdhury also claimed that he did not threatened the AC land in any way.
In his reaction to the complaints raised by the Election Commission and the Cabinet Division against him, Nixon Chowdhury convened a press conference at the National Press Club in Dhaka on Tuesday.
The press conference was organised against the ‘biased attitude and oppression of the Faridpur district administration’ in the by-election for the post of Charbhadrasan upazila parishad chairman on Saturday.
Claiming innocence against allegations of threatening, Nixon Chowdhury said an edited version of the phone conversation between him and the UNO was sweeping the internet.
