Ayushmann Khurrana, Vaani Kapoor’s twisted Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui trailer

The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor’s new film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui released on Monday. Touted to be a mind blowing love story, the film has been directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor.

The trailer for Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui opens with Ayushmann working out in the gym, pulling a vehicle and seemingly dedicated at his task towards winning a weightlifting championship to create his own identity.

However, his dreams take a step back when Zumba teacher Maanvi Brar (Vaani Kapoor) joins the gym. Ayushmann starts falling for Maanvi, and things reach its climax with a passionate liplock between the two. However, things take a turn for the worse when he gets to know that Maanvi is a transgender. Manu feels betrayed and starts maintaining distance from Maanvi.

The trailer ends with Man and Maanvi trying to bring their relationship back on track, proving once again that love has no boundaries.

Ayushmann took to Instagram to share the trailer on social media, writing, “Weight training: (check), squats: (check), aashiqui: (confused). Checklist is ready. Are you? #ChandigarhKareAashiqui, trailer out now. See you in cinemas on 10th Dec!”
