Bangladesh vs India ODI fixtures

Bangladesh will take on India in the opener of the three-match ODI series, starting on Sunday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

India led by Rohit Sharma, who are touring Bangladesh for the first time in seven years, have brought in a full-strength squad despite the series not being part of the World Cup Super League.

A feisty contest awaits as several recent fixtures between the two sides have gone to the wire with the Tigers always fancying themselves against the Indians.

India tasted defeat the last time they were in the Tigers’ den as they went down 2-1 in the ODI series in 2015.

Bangladesh will be without the services of regular ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal and opener Liton Das will take charge.

Ace speedster Taskin Ahmed has also been ruled out for the first match, while India suffered a setback with the loss of pacer Mohammad Shami.

The first two matches on December 4 and 7 will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and the action will then move to Chattogram where the third match will take place on December 10.
