Bangladesh Girl Guides Association on Saturday celebrated the World Thinking Day.
The programme was jointly organized by the Capital Region and the Head Quarters of BGGA in Dhaka.
Zuena Aziz, sr. secretary and chief co-ordinator, sustainable development goal (Affairs) to the Prime Minister Office, was the present as the chief Guest at the event while deputy commissioner of Dhaka Md. Shahidul Islam was the guest of honor.
Kazi Zebunnessa Begum, national commissioner of BGGA presided over the programme while Prof Yasmin Ahmed, depute national commissioner (Programme) and Rowshan Islam, regional commissioner, capital region, BGGA, among others, spoke.
The event was celebrated with recitation of thinking day message of National Commissioner, renewal of promise, collection of thinking day fund and prize giving followed by a cultural show. Yellow birds, Guides & Rangers from different educational institutions performed dance, song and drama.
