Birthday Special: Malavika Mohanan’s luxurious home

Malavika Mohanan is celebrating her 28th birthday today, and fans are making her day special by pouring their wishes on Twitter. She shot to fame after appearing in the 2017 film Beyond the Clouds, a film helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Majid Majidi. During the shoot of this critically acclaimed film, Malavika lost 8kg in fifteen days for a jail sequence, and opted not to wash her hair for several days to perfect the look of the slum dweller.

She made her acting debut in 2013 in the Mollywood film Pattam Pole opposite Dulquer Salmaan, which was directed by ace cinematographer Alagappan. Malavika has also appeared in two other Malayalam movies including Nirnayakam and The Great Father. Later, she has established herself as a leading actress of Tamil cinema by starring in female lead roles in films such as Petta and Master.

Malavika Mohanan was born on 4th August 1992, Kannur, in Kerala and brought up in Mumbai. She has graduated in Mass Media from Wilson College, Mumbai. Malavika is the daughter of renowned Bollywood choreographer KU Mohanan, who has handled the lens for superhit films like Talaash, Raees, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Lust Stories, Andhadhun and Maharshi.
