BNP dancing like monkey with Al-Jazeera report: Hasan

Awami League Joint General Secretary and Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said that the BNP is dancing like monkey with the report of Al-Jazeera.

“The way they (BNP) are dancing like monkeys after the broadcasting of a report in Al-Jazeera, is not bringing any benefit. Many call it a monkey dance. We are not worried at all,” the minister told journalists while responding to questions on contemporary issues at the Secretariat in Dhaka on Tuesday.

When asked BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi’s comment what he said, “The government has increased contacts with Delhi after the report was published on Al Jazeera. They would not be benefitted from running in Delhi without having link with the people.”

In reply, the Information Minister said, “At first, Mr. Rizvi said some strange things often. This is from one of his bizarre words.”

“We have good relation with India for a long time. It is our closest neighbour. India is surrounded on three sides by our country. We have always had good relations with India. That relationship with current India government has reached a new height under the leadership of our Prime Minister,” added the minister.
