BNP leaders become sick after recovery of Khaleda: Hasan

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud Sunday said BNP leaders became sick after the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia as they are not getting any issue for movement.

“BNP has no other issue. They are only busy in creating barriers in the country’s development and in anti-state conspiracy. Their only work is tarnishing the image of the country and its government through spreading propaganda at home and abroad. The country would go further ahead if there was no conspiracy,” he said.

The minister stated these while addressing the triennial conference of Sirajganj Poura Awami League unit at M Mansur Ali auditorium in Sirajganj town, BSS reports.

Hasan urged the Awami League leaders and activists to remain alert against the conspiracies and to raise voice against the propaganda.

He said BNP turned the country into a militant state. But Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina freed the country from militancy and the Bangabandhu’s daughter has no other wants without the development of the country, he added.

The minister said every village has been turned into a town and the fate of every people has been changed under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The government has constructed the much-awaited Padma Bridge with the country’s money, said Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary.

But, he said, BNP and their collaborators are not seeing the huge development.
