BNP’s lies have frustrated the countrymen: Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said lies and hate speech made by the BNP have disappointed the people while the people of the country are celebrating Eid with their near and dear ones in a joyous atmosphere.

He made the remarks at a briefing held at his official residence in Dhaka on Monday protesting the remarks of the BNP secretary general which he made on the day of Eid.

The AL general secretary said the BNP is the open enemy of democracy, patronizer and instigator of communal politics and gives shelter to opponents of Liberation War.

Obaidul Quader said that the BNP leaders have exposed the politics of hate and jealous by blaming the government on the day of Eid.

The AL general secretary further said one of the aspects of good governance is the responsible Opposition. He asked the BNP leaders what they have done so far to ensure good governance.

He said no matter how much the BNP tries and conspires with its domestic and foreign allies, this country will never be suppressed, Insha Allah.
