The minister also Awami League general secretary came up with the disclosure while replying a query of journalists in Chandra area of Gazipur.

Obaidul Quader said: “We did not influence Indian government to deport BNP chief’s lawyer from the country. So far I came to know, the British lawyer was sent back to his country as he disembarked into the airport of India without obtaining valid travel documents.”

Earlier on July 11, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s legal consultant Lord Alexander Carlile was denied entry into India for not having obtained the appropriate Indian visa.
