Businessman killed in Gopalganj road crash

A local businessman was killed and three others injured when a mango-laden truck overturned on Gopalganj-Barisal road in Majhbari area under Kotalipara upazila early Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Shaheed Khan, 30, son of Fazle Ali Khan of Monpasha village in the of Nolchiti upazila of Jhalkathi district.

Kotalipara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Kamrul Faruq said: “Shaheed died on the spot when a track turned turtle after being hit with a tree, leaving one dead and three others injured.”
