Chief justice pays tribute to Liberation War martyrs

Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed and other judges of the Supreme Court paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Memorial in Savar at 6:15am today marking the 55th Independence and National Day.

After laying the wreath, the chief justice and the judges of both Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court stood in silence for a while in memory of the 1971 martyrs, a SC press release said.
