Coornavirus infected Khaleda Zia’s condition stable

Coronavirus infected BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s physical condition is now stable. It is not necessary to shift her to hospital right now, said her personal physician Professor Dr FM Siddiqui on Saturday night.
“Madam’s physical condition is better. She is breathing normally, and she does not need any oxygen support,” he said.
Examining Khaleda Zia at her ‘Firoza’ residence at Gulshan in the capital on Saturday night, Professor Dr Siddiqui said though there are mild infection in her lungs, she is stable and her physical condition is good. She will continue to receive treatment staying at home. “We are fully prepared if we need to shift her to hospital at any moment,” he said.
Earlier, the BNP Chairperson’s personal physician and the party’s vice-chairman Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said they would visit the ‘Firoza’ after 9:00pm to inquire about the physical condition of the BNP chairperson. Professor r FM Siddiqui, Dr Abdus Shakur and Dr Mohammad Al Mamun would accompany him.
A personal staff of Khaleda Zia said, “Those of us who have been infected with coronavirus are well. None has developed any complication. We will give samples for COVID-19 tests on next Friday. We hope that the reports will come negative. Three of the COVID-19 infected staff are taking treatment staying at their respective residences.”
The BNP Chairperson gave her samples for COVID-19 test on April 10. On the following day, her report showed that she had tested COVID-19 positive.
Besides, Khaleda Zia, eight more staff at her residence were found COVID-19 infected.
