Coronavirus cases cross 4 lakh in Bangladesh

Bangladesh’s coronavirus cases crossed 4,00,000 on Monday as 1,436 more patients were detected in last 24 hours.
Now, the virus cases stood at 4,00,251.
Meanwhile, 14 more patients died from the virus infection, taking the total tally to 5,818.
Of the dead, nine were male and six were female.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, this afternoon.
In the past 24 hours, some 1,493 patients recovered from the virus, raising the recovery number to 3,16,600.
During this period, total 13,758 samples were tested at 111 labs across the country.
