Dhaka-Washington deep partnership expanding: Bernicat

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat on Wednesday said the “deep partnership” between Bangladesh and the USA is expanding with the growing friendship.

“We’ve a deep ongoing partnership. US continues to value that partnership,” said the US Ambassador, according to UNB report.

She was talking to reporters after her meeting with Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque held at State Guesthouse Padma in the city.

Bernicat said it was a regular meeting, and they discussed the deep and ongoing partnership between the two countries.

“The friendship that the two countries share together, US believes that’s the case yesterday and that’s the case today,” she said.
