Alia Bhatt is on a promotional spree. Mom-to-be Alia Bhatt is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her upcoming film – Darlings on all platforms. And, it might have been a while since her gaffe on Koffee with Karan in 2013, but the ghosts of her past still come back to haunt the actress.

Something similar happened when the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress was reminded of the same at a recent press event. However, before anyone could ask her the question, the Bhatt girl was quick to name the President of the country. “Droupadi Murmu ji,” was Alia’s prompt response.

The Kapoor wife added that she knew the President of the country back then as well, but just got confused in a rush to answer the question.

Alia also added that she gets fascinated by how people think of her as an unintelligent or a ‘dumb’ person. She added that such things then lead on to a meme fest which further helps in increasing one’s popularity.

“I love it when people think that I am unintelligent, or that ‘oh she is so dumb.’ I genuinely do, because they make so many memes on me which add to the popularity, and then it’s like you are loving my movies. So there is possibly something that I am doing right in the movie business,” Alia told Indian Express.
