Ex-Awami League MP Fazilatunnesa Bappy passes away

Former Awami League lawmaker, Advocate Fazilatunnesa Bappy, passed away at a city hospital on Thursday at the age of 49.

She breathed her last at 8:30 am while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Prof Akhteruzzaman, confirmed the news.

Fazilatunnesa Bappy had been kept at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital since December 30, he added.
