Expat stabbed to death in Sylhet

An expatriate, who was stabbed on Sunday, has succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in the capital.
The deceased is Mahibur Rahman, 65, a Sweden expatriate and son of late Ainuddin, of Ailtali village of Jagannatpur upazila in Sunamganj district.
According to family members, a gang of miscreants attacked Mahibur and stabbed him in Sylhet’s Mira Bazar area around 10pm on Sunday, leaving him severely injured.
The injured was taken to Osmani Medical College Hospital and then moved to Apollo Hospitals in Dhaka where he succumbed to his injuries around 3 am on Thursday.
A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station on Tuesday.
