Fire breaks out at Kalyanpur slum

A fire broke out at Kalyanpur slum in the capital city on Sunday night.
The fie started around 8:50 pm at No-9 slum near Notun Bazar, said Md Shahjahan Shikdar, Deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, at least 13 units of the fire service from its nearby stations rushed to the spot and started drive to douse the fire.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
