Five vehicles badly damaged being rammed by minibus in capital

Several cars were badly damaged when a ‘Balaka Paribahan’ passenger minibus hit the vehicles losing control at Maghbazar in the capital on Tuesday.

However, none was injured in the accident which happened at Maghbazar Wireless area early Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses said Saidabad-bound ‘Balaka Paribahan’ minibus first rammed a private car losing control on Maghbazar flyover. Being hit, the private car also collided with three more private cars ahead of it.

Besides, a motorcycle was also damaged being hit by the private car. Four private cars, one microbus and motorcycle were badly damaged in the accident.

As a result, hundreds of motor vehicles got stranded at Maghbazar, Malibagh and Mouchak area on Tuesday afternoon, causing immense sufferings to both commuters and pedestrians. Traffic police were found working to normalise the flow of vehicles on the flyover.
