GB NEWS 24 DESK//

Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has re-fixed the price of gold raising by Tk 1,750 per bhori.

It was stated by BAJUS in a press release issued on Wednesday.

The BAJUS said the new rate would be effective fro Thursday (September 10).

The press release said despite the global financial crises, trade war between China and the US, diminishing influence of US dollar, fall in global oil prices and other difficulties, the prices of gold were reduced in Bangladesh twice–on August 13 and August 21. However, the prices of gold in the local bullion market have increased again.

Taking the overall situation into consideration, the BAJUS on Wednesday refixed the prices of gold and silver in the local market.
