How to make green tea and matcha tea?

  • Green tea: Never, ever boil green tea. Instead, let it simmer. Boil water onto a pan and just when you feel it is about to bubble, turn off the knob. Add one teaspoon of green tea leaves and let it simmer by keeping the lid closed. Strain it and drink it. You may also add some honey to it if you want.
  • Matcha tea: Unlike green tea, matcha is a fine green powdery substance that needs no straining. Add a teaspoon to a glass and add a little water. Whisk it away. Once the tea forms into a fine paste, add one regular cup of water and sip it up.
