Human chain demanding maximum punishment for rapists in Moulvibazar leading by Jaker

Moulvibazar Representative : A human chain program has been observed in Moulvibazar demanding maximum punishment and speedy execution. The human chain was organized on Saturday (October 10) at 11 am by the Sachetan Chhatra Samaj Moulvibazar district to demand maximum punishment for those involved in brutal heinous crimes like ongoing rapists across the country.

Later, welcoming the order of death penalty for rape by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, a procession was held at various important streets of the city and after the joyous procession, a rally was held at Chaumuna and sweets were distributed.

The human chain was leading by Jaker Ahmed (Opu), Founder President of the Central Committee of the Sheikh Russell Student Association and ex Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Students League. Moulvibazar Municipal Juba League Organizing Secretary Tajul Islam spoke.

Among the students who spoke were Ashraf Mahmud Shakil, Md. Zahidul Islam, Rabiul Islam Rabbi, Abdul Wahab Edreja Ahmed Rubel, Masum Ahmed, Tajul Islam Sabbir, Syed Ashiq Ali, Mujahid Ahmed, Humayun Khan, Muhibur Rahman Mukul, Zakir Ahmed, Liza Aqtar. Poppy Begum, Fahima Tahmina. Numerous students from different educational institutions of Moulvibazar district were also present.
