Earlier today, Ashna Habib Bhabna announced that she will be participating in the International Art Exhibition to be held in Dubai, UAE from December 12.

The actress took to her Facebook with another surprise — she has signed the fourth feature film of her career. The government granted film, titled, “Japito Jibon” will be directed and co-produced by her father, Habibul Islam Habib.

The actress talked about the film to The Daily Star. “I am elated to announce this news, this will be the first time I am going to work under my father’s direction,” shares Bhabna. Noted artistes like Afzal Hossain and Rokeya Prachi will be her co-artistes in this project.

The “Laal Moroger Jhuti” famed actress also informed that she might not be able to attend the art exhibition in Dubai, as the shooting for the film will begin from the 22nd of this month. The story of “Japito Jibon” is written by eminent writer Selina Hossain.

Bhabna, on the other hand, shared that the exhibition has been arranged to celebrate the 51st Victory Day of Bangladesh (December 16, 2022). It will run until December 19.

“A total of 50 participants will get the opportunity to exhibit their artworks,” says Bhabna. “This event opened the space for those artists who are not trained from any institute, and have natural talent in them.” Bhabna’s painting, “Oboshor” (Retirement) has been selected in the exhibition.

Bhabna has her hands full in recent times. She completed working in the film “Dampara”, starring opposite Ferdous. According to the actress, she will be signing up for a web series very soon.

Recently, she performed on the stage in the play “Ami Birangona Bolchhi”, a production by the great Jamil Ahmed’s production house, Spordha.
