If Lucifer was made into a Bollywood film

The devil goes on a vacation! Yes, this is exactly the plot of the popular American web show Lucifer. The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar, played by Tom Ellis, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles. The devil runs his nightclub and becomes a consultant to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The narrative of the show is very interesting and the amazing performances just double up the fun.

But have you ever thought what if Lucifer was made in Bollywood? Who would play the Devil? Well, recently we let our imagination run wild and we made a list of our dream cast. Listed below are the actors we would like to cast in the Bollywood version of Lucifer season one.

Lucifer Morningstar – Ranbir Kapoor

Unmatched charm with a heart of gold, the Devil gets to meet his ‘human side’ in the first season of Lucifer. And we feel that Ranbir will be perfect for this role. With his killer looks, he is the right fit.

Chloe Decker – Anushka Sharma

For Lauren German’s character, we feel that Anushka will be perfect. Chloe is bold, independent and has a soft side. It would be interesting to see Anushka and Ranbir form a good bond as Lucifer and Chloe.

Detective Daniel “Dan” Espinoza – Varun Dhawan

Dan, Chloe’s ex-husband, has his own secrets but he loves his family, and we feel Varun would do justice to this role, which has been played by Kevin Alejandro.

Amenadiel – Hrithik Roshan 

Played by D. B. Woodside, Amenadiel is Lucifer’s older brother, who is on a mission to take him back to hell. We feel that to see Hrithik as an angel will be an absolute delight.

Mazikeen – Alia Bhatt

Confidante and devoted ally of Lucifer, Mazikeen (played by Lesley-Ann Brandt) is a demon. She is strong, fierce and knows what she needs to do to protect the Devil. According to us, Alia will be suitable to play this bold role.

Dr Linda Martin – Vidya Balan 

Dr Linda Martin is the one who makes Lucifer familiar with his true self. It would be interesting to see Vidya play a psychotherapist. The role is played by Rachael Harris in the show.

Detective Malcolm Graham – Tiger Shroff 

Lastly, the villain of season one. Malcolm, played by Kevin Rankin, is a character that we feel Tiger could ace, especially after his performance in War.
