The tragic and untimely death of Sridevi left the whole nation in shock and mourning. Deemed as the first woman superstar of Bollywood, the actress was nothing short of iconic as she beautifully portrayed all her characters with utmost grace. As the nation rings in the fourth year since her heavenly abode, her children of course had a few words to share about their late mum.

A mother’s demise is surely hard on any child. And the pain can be truly felt in Janhvi Kapoor’s latest Instagram post. Taking to the social media platform, the actress shared a throwback picture with her mum, grieving another year spent without their mother.

Comfortably sat atop her mother’s knee, a young Janhvi looks cute as a button in the throwback picture as the mother-daughter duo twin in denim and smile in each other’s embrace. Her emotional note for her mum reads, “I’ve still lived more years with you in my life than without. But I hate that another year has been added to a life without you. I hope we make you proud mumma, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going. Love you forever.”

Earlier today, her sister and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi too shared a throwback picture with the star, without any caption, letting their happy picture do all the talking. The doting mom of two can be seen embracing her little one as she gazes into the camera with a soft smile.
