Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 collects over Rs 14 crore on Day 1 despite low ticket pricing

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have been making the news every single day for the last couple of weeks for their latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The duo left no stone unturned in promoting the horror-comedy and now, it looks like their efforts are bearing fruit.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a standalone sequel to the 2007 Akshay Kumar-starrer of the same name, hit the theatres on May 20, 2022. The film is competing with Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad and despite that, it has managed to make over Rs 14 crore on Day 1.

As per a report by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has collected Rs 14.11 crore despite the low ticket pricing. Not just that, the film has also become Kartik’s biggest opener. The actor’s last film to hit the big screen was Love Aaj Kal 2 by Imtiaz Ali and the film collected Rs 12.40 crore on Day 1 of its release.
