Keeping dual NIDs: Doctor Sabrina denied bail

A Dhaka court has rejected the bail petition of JKG Health Care Chairman Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury in a case filed over collecting two national identity cards (NID) providing fake information.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari passed the order after the hearing on the case held on Tuesday.

On September 3, a Dhaka court put Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury on a two-day remand in the case.

Election officer Mohammad Momin Miah filed the case with Badda Police Station on August 30 against Dr Sabrina for having two National Identity cards (NIDs).
