KGF: Chapter 2 trends better than Baahubali 2, Dangal, earns Rs 100 crore in two days

Prashanth Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon has managed to smash all records at the box office. The film which released on April 14 has already crossed the lifetime of KGF on Day 1. The film made Rs 44.09 crore, in the Hindi market and is just one day, the film has broken all records with Rs 53.95 crore.

And now, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted that it is trending better than SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas and Aamir Khan’s Dangal, both of which are considered to be iconic hits in Indian cinema.

Taking to Twitter, Adarsh called KGF: Chapter 2 a ‘Tsunami’ and revealed that it has already crossed Rs 100 crore in two days. Adarsh wrote, “#KGF2 [#Hindi] is a TSUNAMI… Hits the ball out of the stadium on Day 2… Trending better than ALL event films, including #Baahubali2 and #Dangal… Eyes ₹ 185 cr [+/-] in its *extended 4-day weekend*… Thu 53.95 cr, Fri 46.79 cr.
