killed in Sylhet as train runs them over

Two youth were killed as a train ran them over in Sylhet railway station area yesterday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Confirming the news, Sylhet Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jahangir Alam said: “Two youth fell from train and were crushed under the wheels while they were trying to catch Dhaka bound Upaban Express around 10pm.”

“Police sent the bodies to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for the autopsy”, he added.
