Korean actor Park Seo-joon cast in Brie Larso-starrer Captain Marvel sequel: Reports

The cast of Brie-Larson’s Captain Marvel 2 has now included South Koran actor Park Seo-joon. The actor is known for films like What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Itaewon Class, Fight for My Way, Hwarang and more.
As per reports, Park will head to the United States for filming in the second half of this year after completing filming for Concrete Utopia, which he is currently working on.
According to a report in Soompi, the news was confirmed on June 15. However, Park Seo-joon’s agency Awesome ENT has refused to comment on the development.
As per the report, if Park Seo-joon indeed has been offered a role, he will be the second Korean actor to star in a Marvel movie following Ma Dong Seok in Eternals.
Park began his mandatory military service in 2008, when he was 19 years old, and was discharged in 2010. He debuted in the entertainment industry in 2011 by appearing the music video of Bang Yong-guk’s single I Remember. He then starred in television dramas Dream High 2 (2012), Pots of Gold (2013), One Warm Word (2013) among others, but his breakout roles came in 2015 with the dramas Kill Me, Heal Me and She Was Pretty.
Meanwhile, Brie Larson’s The Marvels is scheduled for release on November 11, 2022 in the United States.
