Low over Bay of Bengal, temperature may fall in 3 days

As a result, the temperature at night within the next three days will drop further, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather forecast valid for 24 hours commencing at 9:00am on Saturday (December 18).
The Met Office said that a ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. A low pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean.
In a weather forecast, it said night temperature might fall within the next three days or 72 hours.
The forecast said weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Light fog may occur at places over the country during early morning.
Country’s highest 29.7 degree Celsius temperature was recorded at Teknaf and lowest 9 degree Celsius at Tentulia on Saturday.
