Low over central Bay, Signal No. 3 for maritime ports

“Deep convection is taking place over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh under the influence of low over central Bay and adjoining North Bay. Squally weather likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and coastal areas,” said a Met Office bulletin issued at 9:30 am on Sunday.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.

They are also advised not to venture into the deep sea.
