Fans were left excited when Mahesh Babu took to social media to share the first look of his upcoming production venture, Major, in December last year. Since then, netizens have been eagerly waiting for a new update on the film. And now, the superstar has treated them to the same. Taking to Instagram earlier today, Mahesh Babu announced the release date of Major. Not just this, he also treated fans to a new poster of the movie featuring Sesh Adivi.

The movie is set to hit the screens in July this year. Sharing the big news, the actor wrote, “2nd July 2021. The #MAJOR day.” In the poster, Sesh Adivi can be seen in a uniform, holding a gun.

An impactful line on the poster reads, “Inspired by the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The hero of 26/11.” Take a look below:

Major is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures Releasing International, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies. The movie is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, and Adivi Sesh will be seen portraying the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The movie will mark his Bollywood debut. It will also feature Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar in key roles.
