Nancy’s upcoming music video to feature her daughter

Singer Nazmun Munira Nancy’s daughter, Marzia Bushra Rodela, has made her debut in the music video for her mother’s song “Tomari Achi”, directed by Ibrahim Mahadi. Rodela, who has a background in music and dance, took the opportunity to model for the first time in her mother’s video.

The idea for the music video came from Rodela and Mahadi, according to Nancy. While Nancy is not typically a fan of music videos as a tool to make songs popular, she supported the project because it was a collaboration between her daughter and the director.

Nancy expressed her excitement about seeing her daughter in the video, calling it a unique experience. The song, written by Goonjohn Rahman, was composed, mixed, and mastered by Hridoy Khan. It will be released on Nancy’s YouTube channel later this month.

Nancy, who has been quiet on her YouTube channel for some time, said that she is now investing in creating her own music. She mentioned, “The financial burden of producing music is rather challenging, as singers must handle much of the production themselves, which often involves significant costs.”

Rodela also recently released her own song, “Rajkumar”, last December, which received praise for her vocal performance. Nancy, moved by a request for the song during a live performance, sang a few lines and reflected on how emotional the moment was for her.

Nancy acknowledged, “While many compare Rodela’s voice to mine, I hope my daughter will grow into her own unique identity as a singer, free from the pressures of living up to anyone’s expectations.”
