Oikyafront leaders visit shrines in Sylhet

Jatiya Oikyafront senior leaders visited the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) and Shah Paran (R) in Sylhet before holding their maiden public rally in the city on Wednesday.

Leaders of Jatiya Oikyafront, including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, went to the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) first and then they went to the shrine of Hazrat Shah Paran (R) after reaching there in the morning.

BNP standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Moudud Ahmed, JSD President ASM Abdur Rob, its General Secretary Abdul Malek Ratan, and Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna and Sylhet City Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury were also present during the visit where they prayed for happiness, peace and welfare of the nation.

Earlier, the political leaders reached Sylhet airport at 6am today.
