Overcoming uncertainty, ‘Borbaad’ set for Eid release
Shakib Khan starrer “Borbaad”, has received approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Regarding this, the film’s producer, Shahreen Akter Sumi, told The Daily Star that the film will be submitted to the censor board tomorrow morning, further stating that the film is set for release this Eid.
“We have made ‘Borbaad’ adhering to all the rules and regulations. The ministry thoroughly reviewed the documents before approving them. When I visited the ministry, I was surprised to find everyone asking me about ‘Borbaad’. Even I was taken aback. The film will be submitted on Monday morning, and we are hopeful that it will pass the censor board,” she said.
Directed by Mehdi Hasan Hridoy, the film also stars Idhika Paul, Jisshu Sengupta, Misha Sawdagar, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Intekhab Dinar, and Mamunur Rashid in pivotal roles.
