Palak Tiwari feels pressured to protect mom Shweta Tiwari’s image

Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari, after her song Bijlee Bijlee with Harrdy Sandhu, has managed to carve a special space for herself amongst the B-town audience. The star kid often makes the news for her sartorial picks and her spotting outside the gym. While fans cannot wait to see more of her on screen, Palak in a recent interview shared that she’s extremely particular about picking the opportunities that come her way.

She shared that she has been getting opportunities but she feels pressured to pick the right one as she does not want to tarnish her mother’s career. Over the years, Shweta Tiwari has build a career that many look up to. She rose to immense fame for her role as Prerna in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay and the rest, as we all know is history.

Palak revealed that she feels pressured and does not want to make choices that end up affecting her mother’s name in the industry too.

Speaking to Puja Talwar, Palak said, “I’m not only building this career in my name, it has my mother’s name attached to it. Every step I take, it’s not just impacting my career but also impacting my mother’s name. More than anything that’s the pressure I felt.”

She further added that she may get opportunities because of her mom and her successful career but that itself is an added responsibility. “I’m responsible for a person who has given her whole life, gallantly moved towards the career that she’s wanted and she’s made her name. So I cannot be the one that tarnishes that.”
