Pooja Hegde reveals why Radhe Shyam did mediocre performance

Pooja Hegde was recently seen alongside South superstar Prabhas in Radhe Shyam. The actress recently opened up about the mediocre response the film received from fans and critics, stating that every film has its own destiny and the box office results of a film is not the real indicators of its quality.

For the unversed, Rahe Shyam is a periodic romantic drama which is set in Europe of 1970s, and tells the story of Vikramaditya, a palmist who is conflicted between destiny and his love for Prerana. The film that was originally slated fro release on July 30, 2021 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, theatrically, finally on March 11, 2022.

Now, in an interaction with Pinkvilla, the actress said, “Sometimes you watch a film and you think it’s an okay film but the box office does really well. Sometimes it’s a film that didn’t do well at the box office but when you watch it, you wonder why it did not work. I feel every film has its destiny at the box office. And that’s on the film.”

However, she added that despite the film’s poor perforemance, her act received a loss of praise, stating, “Sometimes you watch a film and you think it’s an okay film but the box office does really well.
