Pori Moni expresses hope of getting fair trial

Actress Pori Moni expresses hope that she will get fair trial in the attempted rape and murder case.

She went to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) office around 3:30 pm on Tuesday to thank police for speedily arresting the accused.

After talking to the DB police, Pori Moni came out in the evening and told reporters, “It is like a magic, I mean everything have done so fast…in just a few hours….! When people wake up in the morning, I did not get that opportunity. I mean, I didn’t have time to sleep. Before that I saw that things were done quickly. They have been arrested.”

The actress said, “This is a big proof that police are so magical. Now I just believe that I will get the justice.”

Mentioning that there was a friendly conversation with the DB police, Pori Moni said that she is now getting emotional relief.

She said, “I am very refreshed mentally when I come here. No one told me that I would return to work. Everyone around me tried to comfort me. But they have given me that support for so long that I have to go back to work. Talking about my work, I am being given various good vibes. How can I get back to my normal life … I didn’t expect so much from them. They are so friendly.”
