Protestors halt Good Luck Jerry shoot in Patiala; shout, ‘Janhvi

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor and her team of Good Luck Jerry reportedly landed in trouble after protesting farmers halted the film’s shoot on Saturday evening. The protestors, as per a recent report, gathered at the sets of the film on Bhupindra Road after which the team had to wrap up the shoot soon.

According to a report in ETimes, the agitated protestors also shouted slogans like ‘Janhvi Kapoor vapas jao’ and also held flags. The reports claimed that sensing the tension on the sets, the team of Good Luck Jerry stopped the shooting and everyone including Janhvi returned to their hotels.

The report further stated that the protestors went to stage a dharna outside the hotel where Janhvi and others were staying. If the report is anything to go by, no official police complaint has been filed yet. But the police officials had arrived at the location after they were informed of the incident.

Neither Janhvi nor any other member from Good Luck Jerry has opened up about the said incident yet. It remains to be seen whether the team continues its shoot or decides to return amid the rising tension.

As for the film, Janhvi only recently dropped the first look poster of the film. Sporting a simple patiala suit in the combination of orange and blue, Janhvi’s character looked endearing. Ditching her usual glam self, the actress was seen flaunting a braid. “#goodluckjerry,” read Janhvi’s caption on Instagram.
